Above there is reflection
Colorful and bright
Dancing in the sunlight
Shimmering at night
Just below the surface
Another world awaits
Holding onto mysteries
Until some future date
Our view will let us marvel
That these two coexist
And think on our experiences
And those we might have missed
The world is full of beauty
And also some surprise
Perhaps it is the future

About the Poem Reflections in Time
Reflections in Time is an inspirational poem about seeing the mysteries in the world. So many people see the obvious in the world but don’t see beyond. Much like the reflection of a lake. You may see the world reflected in the water, but below the surface there is so much more that is different that what we see above. Our world has beauty and mystery at the same time. You can choose to just see it the way you want to, or you can look deeper. There is more meaning to be found it if we pay closer attention to our world. There is more to our reality than meets the eye.
Inspirational Poetry Books
Here are some of the books that are available from Robert Longley. I would recommend the Sacred Poem journals. Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
