Fragrant and inviting
The senses will rejoice
Swept into the wonder
Of the lilac’s subtle voice
A gentle breeze invites them
To dance away the day
The silent music guides them
As to and fro they sway
A subtle mix of colors
Against a field of green
Standing out so gently
Yet enough to still be seen
Will this bit of wonder
Flow just like a stream
Or will we suddenly awaken
From this magic lilac dream
About the Poem A Lilac Dream
The poem A Lilac Dream is about this time of year when lilacs show their colors. Bright but not too bright. Colorful, but not too colorful. Yes, they are distinctive but in a subtle way. This painting of blues, whites, purples, and pink is always against a background of green. Depending on the type, they can last a few weeks or disappear for a while and then come back again later in the fall. Is it real or a dream?

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
