Perhaps a shift in consciousness
And maybe also form
A change the world will notice
That challenges the norm
Rules to be rewritten
A shattering of glass
A moment of excitement
When boundaries we surpass
Then will come the knowing
And seeing of the truth
So many things forgotten
We once knew in our youth
Where is it we’re going
When will you truly know
For now enjoy the journey
And learn as you do grow
About the Poem Transcendence
The poem Transcendence is about becoming more than you think possible. It may be physical or just how you look at things. It could be where you live or how your work. Or all of the above. Some of it may seem familiar like something we knew as children but somehow forgot. The world tends to show us how things are and not how things could be. At some point we see the Matrix for what it is. At that point the rules don’t seem quite so rigid. There are possibilities we hadn’t considered because we didn’t know any better. Once we see past the obvious, there is lots more to see. It’s an opportunity to learn and grow and be more than we thought was possible.
Poetry Books
Here are some of the books that are available from Robert Longley. I would recommend the Sacred Poem journals. Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
