A feast for all the senses
A vision for the eyes
And the gentle scent of jasmine
Casually rolling by
A dream cast in the present
The actors know their parts
It all just comes together
For two people and two hearts
A magical arrangement
Of imagery and light
Which transitions gracefully
From day into the night
It is as it was imagining
Where light can dance before the sun

About The Poem The Scent of Jasmine
The Scent of Jasmine is an inspirational poem about a wedding in Tuscany, Italy. I’m generally not inclined to write wedding poems about weddings I wasn’t invited to, not to mention someone that I don’t actually know. Some people are so inspiring, you can’t help but take notice. I would like to go out on a limb and say that Kylie Flavell will eventually be known as one of the top cinematographers of the 21st century.
If you aren’t interested in Italy, you may have never heard of her, but if you are, she dominates YouTube with her various videos. To say they are extraordinary is an understatement. She is a one woman production company and drone pilot. The video where she turns a family property into her dream wedding venue is a wonderful glimpse into how she sees the world. If you watch the video, this poem may make more sense.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
