Sometimes all the best intentions
And everything we try
Has no final impact
Except to see a life pass by
Perhaps there was purpose
That maybe we cannot see
Leaving us to question
What is meant to be
Sometimes showing love
When it cannot be returned
Is ultimately the lesson
That here is to be learned
Always put love out there
Even when all hope is lost
Know it serves a purpose
And doesn’t have a cost
About The Poem Sometimes
Sometimes is an inspirational poem about loss. In this case it was about a puppy. We spent several days bottle feeding her but she continued to lose weight while her brothers and sisters continued to grow. It was a long shot from the first day because she was less than half the size of the other puppies. Still we gave it our best effort and did our best to show her love. In some ways this might seem like a losing battle, but I’d like to think we let her know we cared about her.
We’ve all been there in one way or another. We know something is going to happen and there is nothing we can do to stop it. The tendency is to recoil to protect ourselves from what is about to happen. But what if instead you put yourself out there and love with all your heart for as long as you can? Think about it.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
