A place for all to cherish
A site meant to be shared
This is a place for worship
Not one where you are scared
Each group was given guidance
And words for them to hear
Developing traditions
That all do hold so dear
Some don’t see the others
As sharers of the space
Reserving for themselves the privilege
To enjoy this holy place
But that was not the intention
This is not a place of war
All were meant to share the gift
Of what this place is for
About the Poem Jerusalem
The poem Jerusalem is a timely reminder of the special nature of this part of the world. Not too long ago a glimmer of peace in the region was on the horizon. This was shattered by the brutal terror attack on Israeli citizens. Once again the region is descending into war. It’s almost ironic because I believe Jerusalem was meant as a place of peace to be celebrated by many groups. I believe most Jews and Palestinians want peace in the region. But they are likely to pay the price for those who don’t. Wars are planned by the old and generally paid for by the young.
As Israel takes steps to ensure the continued safety of their citizens I’m hoping other powers in the region still hold a vision of peace as the ultimate outcome. War can lead to peace as long as all concerned will accept that as a possible option.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
