High atop mount Crumpit
The final steps await
That I alone must manage
To ensure that things are straight

Down below Whos fritter
And wallow at their tasks
But when it is important
It’s me they come to ask

I’m sure I could let them do it
But would they do it right
You need to make a statement
When you brighten up the night

So enjoy your whobalation
As you join from near and far
I will be watching over

About the Poem Whobalation

The poem Whobalation is about the Christmas festival in Whoville. Most of you know the story of the Grinch, but do you know the story behind it. Some of the facts are debated, but it’s more fun if we just accept that it’s true. What we do know is that the Theodore Geisel “Dr Suess” was born in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1904. One of his favorite hikes was up Mt. Tom which overlooks Easthampton, Mass. One year he wasn’t really feeling in the Christmas spirit. Rather Grinch like, you might say. And Mt Tom became Mt. Crumpit and Easthampton became Whoville. At least that’s the story. And it’s a good one. You can actually attend the Whobalation. Everyone is welcome.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products

While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
