It really is quite simple
The ingredients are few
A little bit of magic
And a fishing rod or two
In truth it could be anything
That brings a little joy
They make for lasting memories
That nothing can destroy
Details may be faded
But never are erased
By times onward marching
Or the challenges we faced
The moments all were special
They make us who we are
And they always will be with us

About the Poem The Recipe
The poem The Recipe is about the recipe for life. It’s different for everyone, but it is something you can look at and distill down to something that is generally pretty simple. It’s rarely about a fancy house, car or other material belongings. It’s about simple things and the memories that we create along the way. At the end of our lives we can usually look back and see these simple things that were the recipe for a life well lived.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
