Perhaps it’s hidden from us
The truth that’s hard to see
Maybe we aren’t ready
To learn what we can be
So many possibilities
And wonders to behold
Takes us beyond the limits
Of things that we’ve been told
Why can’t we just see it
And have the path be clear
Couldn’t the future tell us
If it’s far or maybe near
So much is out there waiting
Shrouded in the mist
It’s just God’s sense of humor
With just a little twist
About the Poem Shrouded in the Mist
Shrouded in the Mist is an inspirational poem about the promise of the future and how we only get glimpses of it. There is no big picture that says – complete these steps and you will get the following. Instead we get snippets of things that may or may not connect together. We see bits and pieces and it starts to make sense in our brains. It gives us the nod that it’s probably ok to move forward in our current direction.
Will it be exactly what we think it is? Probably not. It may be something completely different. But what we envisioned was really only there to move us in the right direction. These glimpses of the future are partially there to spark our curiosity to see more. I also think it’s partially a reflection of the universe’s sense of humor. There’s a saying – if you want make God laugh, tell him your plans.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
