Now has run its course
Even when expected
Seems guided by a force
Something still seems missing
The guidance that we seek
Hoping we will find the strength
Yet often we feel weak
An empty time of questions
When so much seems unknown
In truth it is realization
That we actually have grown
There is no going backward

About the Poem Now What
The poem Now What is about reaching the end of some phase of your life. Maybe it’s a job, a marriage, retirement or the kids finally leaving the nest. Maybe you knew it would eventually happen. Or maybe it’s a complete surprise. This can be a sad time with feelings of loss and emptiness. We might know an ending is coming, but we don’t always have a plan for what’s next. Chances are we are just out of practice. If we rewind the clock to the beginning of what is ending, we didn’t know what we were getting into. We had hopes and dreams, but didn’t really know what was going to happen next. As we got more familiar with it, things seemed more obvious and we settled into a path as if we had planned it all along. Chances are it didn’t really happen that way. But we’ve set that image in our mind so starting over seems so much harder. We’ve done it before. We can do it again.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
