Sandcastles at the beach
Close your eyes for a moment
That time is still in reach
One of many memories
That stands the test of time
Like a lovely vintage
Or a favorite tree to climb
So many stories
And time we got to share
Often just being there
To listen and show you care

On earth or up above

About the Poem There is Only Love
The poem There is Only Love is about one sister remembering the other. Thinking back through the decades. Remembering time as little kids up through the many challenges of being adults. All stories end and most of the time we think they end too soon. So why are some stories hundreds of pages long, and others are just a few? how many years does it take to complete the story of someone’s life? This can be a difficult question to answer because we always look at it as not having been enough. I’ve known people who died in high school, college, and every other point along the way. We are always looking for answers because we think we should have had more time with the people we have lost.
There is a switch which some people are able to make where they start being grateful for the time they had rather than assuming the story was supposed to continue. It’s a very different way of looking at life and death. But once you get to that point, you realize that the connection is always there – because there is only love.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
