Sometimes in the safest ports
And sometimes on the seas
A sudden change of weather
And an unexpected breeze
We try to understand it
When senses can’t comprehend
Are we just beginning
Or have we reached the end
There are no easy answers
When a storm arrives
Will we soon see sunshine
Or will we be alive
A drama often played out
From times so long ago
Eventually, the storm will pass
And when it does, you’ll know
About the Poem What Storms May Come
The poem What Storms May Come is about the storms that show up in our lives. Sometimes a storm in another’s life can become a storm for you as well. It may not be the same storm, but the challenge and confusion just take on a new form. We all know that storms end, but we can’t always see that when they happen in our lives. Remembering that, and seeing it in the situation is key. It doesn’t make it any better, but trying to look at things objectively, it can remind us that there is an ending to every storm. And in that, there is hope. You can get through any storm. Sometimes you just need to ask for help.

The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
