They hide off in dark corners
Trying not to be seen
We try to pretend they don’t exist
And understand what they mean
Confronting them directly
Just isn’t in the cards
We struggle to acknowledge
Those things that we find hard
Why can’t we admit them
And bring them to the light
It seems just like another thing
To keep us up at night
But if we overcome them
And leave them in the past
These are the types of change
That surely are to last
About the Poem The Fears We Admit
The poem The Fears We Admit is about those dark things we don’t like to talk about, or even admit that they exist. They tend to stay with us and don’t go away. We can’t tackle them head-on, so we tend to ignore them. But the longer we ignore them, the longer they exist. It’s a vicious cycle wrapped in pain and shame. How do you break out of it? That is the million-dollar question. At some point, the habit of doing nothing is outweighed by the opportunity of change. It’s then we can break free. We will always have those fears as part of our story, but that’s all they will be. We don’t need them anymore.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
