The softest of moments
Where closeness is defined
A subtle touch of elegance
And a memory so refined
Quietness and connection
A time of trust and caring
There’s a little bit of magic
In this moment we are sharing
Subtlety of motion
A time of shared embrace
So many emotions
That put a smile on your face
We think we’re just slow dancing
But in fact there is much more
It can be the first of many steps
For good things yet in store
About the Poem Slow Dancing
The poem Slow Dancing is about that first slow dance you have with someone. Not necessarily that one you had in middle school, but the first time you appreciated the moment. The music wasn’t the only thing that slowed down, you synchronized with one another. Movements, breathing, and maybe even the way you were thinking all came together in one moment. Maybe you remember the song, or maybe you stopped listening to the music and just started listening to yourselves.
Later in life slow dancing isn’t just reserved for couples, it is also there for parents and children at father daughter dances and later at weddings. Again we think we are just dancing, but it’s hopefully the start of something wonderful. Take time to remember when everything started. (P.S. If you need a good song for such an occasion I recommend Sail On by the Commodores, Never Saw a Miracle by Curtis Stigers, or God Only Knows by the Beach Boys.)

The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
