A little bit of poison
A little bit of pain
Days longing for sunshine
As we sit and watch it rain

When will days be bright again
When can we go outside
When will we feel well enough
That we don’t have to hide

Is this a lesson to be learned
Or did we do something wrong
Maybe we’re just acting out

So laugh a little, play a little
Appreciate each day

About the Poem Love Will Guide the Way

The poem Love Will Guide the Way was actually written in 2015 and, for some reason, never made it onto the website. There is really no way to sugarcoat it. Chemo sucks! Winston Churchill once said, “If you are going through hell, keep moving.” That can be hard when you can barely get up. The Marines out there would say that “pain is just weakness leaving the body”. It’s probably not the most helpful commentary. But it is sort of comforting that someone had this insane thought, and it has gotten them and others through something difficult in their lives. Everyone has to figure out what is going to work for them. It’s all hard. So choose your hard. Love will guide the way.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products

While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
