We do not walk alone

Throughout life, my earthly family
Expanded well beyond my reach
So many brothers and sisters
Each with something new to teach
I’m truly blessed to serve them
As they have each served me
Creating lasting impacts
That all around can see

About the Poem A Guiding Hand
The poem A Guiding Hand was written for the family of Cpl Daniel “Doc” Joseph DeSantis, USMC, August 29, 1946 – January 14, 2026. For many people, family becomes a choice. We aren’t always dealt the best hand, but we can choose to get new cards. Biology doesn’t always define a family. In Doc’s case, he found the Marine Corps, and later medical school, and became a heart surgeon. His family grew from the people around him. Some members of the family even had four legs. They were all cherished. The world is what you make of it. It’s not how you start. It’s how you finish that matters.

Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
