Time to Act
Winds that blow the rain away
Are hopes for yet another day
Part the clouds with rays of light
Like stars that pierce the dark of night
Waters rise and waters fall
Responding to earth mothers call
To carve anew the earth we see
In ways much like it used to be
Come and watch the changes start
A cry from her now shattered heart
Her angered fists begin to pound
But man has heard not yet a sound
Stop to see her damaged face
Abused by each and every race
The signs they should be telling you
"It's time to act, there's much to do"
