Poem of the Day

All That Was

To say goodbye, to say so long
Is not a choice of right or wrong
It's not a world of ends and starts
But more a circle which you're apart

There is no beginning, there is no end
Upon this thought you can depend
Chances lost aren't lost at all
When those you love may head the call

"Return to God and shed your skin
Your life anew must now begin"
This was for them, and not for you
There's still much more that you must do

Your circles' journey takes you fore
With so much love that's still in store
The love that was is still apart
Of all that was and is your heart

News
Welcome to the second phase of a new direction for SacredPoems.com. Most of these were written with some sort of a picture in mind, I just hadn't thought to put the two together. I wasn't sure what to do with them until someone looking at the mockups said they wished they had something like this for her mother's funeral. I thought it would be nice if for about the price of a nice floral arrangement, people could have something a little more permenant. I do not have the retail section done yet since I'd like to get a few more done. If you have ideas for images to go with a poem please let me know. I have also started adding other photographer's work. Katarzyna Szetelnicka is a student in France who's work I found on line. So far I have used a couple of her photos but hope to add more that may match with my work. If you have photos you think are matches, please let me know. Rob
