Poem of the Day

Love As You Know It

Days and nights unchanging roads
Common themes and common loads
Burdens of a way of life
That surface with a sense of strife

Dramas played out cast in pain
These patterns are cause for much refrain
Confusion clouds our judgment here
For things of now are less than clear

Definition lacking still
We find a battle of your will
Let yourself be who you are
And find within your shining star

Love as you know it is for you
To share in all the things you do
There is a purpose for your being
And shortly many will be seeing

News
Welcome to the second phase of a new direction for SacredPoems.com. Most of these were written with some sort of a picture in mind, I just hadn't thought to put the two together. I wasn't sure what to do with them until someone looking at the mockups said they wished they had something like this for her mother's funeral. I thought it would be nice if for about the price of a nice floral arrangement, people could have something a little more permenant. I do not have the retail section done yet since I'd like to get a few more done. If you have ideas for images to go with a poem please let me know. I have also started adding other photographer's work. Katarzyna Szetelnicka is a student in France who's work I found on line. So far I have used a couple of her photos but hope to add more that may match with my work. If you have photos you think are matches, please let me know. Rob
