I give you my tomorrows
Remember use them well
Savor every moment
With stories you can tell

Share them with your children
As I would do with you
Leave a mark that others
Can see the good you do

It’s all I ever wanted
A price I’d gladly pay
To see you grown and happy
Your hair turning to gray

This wasn’t my tomorrows
I gave them all to you
Try to make them special
And make my dreams come true

About The Poem My Tomorrows

This is an inspirational poem about what happens with someone’s hopes and dreams when they die. Almost everyone who ever died had something they wanted to do the next day. I’d like to think they are giving their tomorrows to us. We have a responsibility to use them in a way to give honor to the people who are no longer with us. How would they have wanted us to live? What would make them proud? These are the questions we should ask of ourselves when we live out our days.

We will all have tomorrows that we won’t see. So we are always going to be giving our tomorrows to our family and the world. Don’t we want their tomorrows to be filled with promise and prosperity. True, there will always be challenges, but our grandchildren shouldn’t have to clean up messes that we left for them. We have a responsibility to ensure that the world we leave behind is at least as good if not better than the way we found it. If you think of tomorrow as a gift you are going to give someone, shouldn’t that gift be something that you value as well? Or better yet, while you are here, make sure tomorrow is a gift you would want to receive.

Inspirational Poetry Books

Here are some of the books that are available from Robert Longley. I would recommend the Sacred Poem journals. Reading my earlier books (especially the ones for Military, Police and Firefighter’s families) cover to cover can be overwhelming. The poetry journals are designed to give you one poem per day while you journal about what might be going on in your life. There are specific journals for grief, success, and more.

Inspirational Poetry Products

While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
