All those years of service
All those years of love
A bounty of his glory
In life for God above
So much of that sharing
Continues to this day
It is as now and always
But with a sense of far away
There is no end to purpose
Or love that all can know
It’s there within our service
For all of us to show

About the Poem – A Love that is Shared
A love that is shared is one of the more unusual poem requests I have received. It is about the love and friendship that two nuns shared for over half a century. I was contacted by the one remaining sister at the time of the other’s passing. It was interesting for me writing this to have a sense of what love means to them. We generally think of love in a familial or romantic way, but this was something different. I don’t know that most people can really understand love in the context of a celibate life devoted to God. I was glad she let me have a glimpse into her world. Now more than ever the world needs to know that love comes in many forms.

Inspirational Poetry Products
While I do signed poetry prints that are 11×14, that isn’t the size or product that all people want. Some just want a sympathy card, others may want a large canvas print, or maybe a coffee cup. There are limits to what I can customize with the options available so some products just don’t work. Please just ignore them, I know that that format doesn’t work. If you are looking for something specific, or would like to make something specific just let me know. I’m open to just about anything.
