The Path
The path you walk is trodden clear
With trails of love and pain and tears
Anyone can find the way
Along the path in night or day
Perhaps we all do know this road
Where others share a similar load
Or maybe it's just true to heart
A larger thing that we're apart
With winding twists, and bending curves
Through which we stumble, crawl and swerve
But still we journey one and all
To start the quest and heed the call
From start to finish
In joy and strife
This is the road
That we call life
