When Cardinals Fly

Cardinals fly o'er mountain streams
Aloft with all my hopes and dreams
To see you both off on your own
I wish you all the joy I've known

The walks we took were many
But these next steps are few
Alone you walk this final path
Then turn and leave as two

If ever should you need me
Just take a walk outside
And cast your thoughts upon the winds
And watch the cardinals fly

Children Death and Dying Ancient Places Life and Living
Echoes of War The Family of God The World Around Us A Possible Future
